You are invited to a lunchtime seminar jointly hosted by Static Systems Group & Thorlux Lighting Road on Wednesday 6th June 2018. The event will run alongside Hospital Innovations in the Levinsky Room at University College London and has been scheduled over a lunchtime period as follows –

12:30-12:45 Lunch available

12:45-13:15 Static Systems Group – Let’s collaborate to improve healthcare outcomes!

13:15-13:45 Thorlux Lighting –Wireless emergency lighting & reporting for healthcare applications

13:45-14:00 Lunch available

Further details of the presentations are given below. Registration for the seminar will entitle you to attend both of the presentations, lunch and refreshments and also visit the associated exhibition area all at no cost.

Hospital Innovations is a full day’s conference with a programme including high profile speakers and topics of current relevance. The full programme can be accessed on the following link –

If you wish to “upgrade” to attend the conference for the whole day the cost is £125+VAT for NHS delegates. However Static Systems Group and Thorlux Lighting are pleased to be able to offer the first 20 respondents complimentary attendance to the full conference in addition to the lunchtime event at no cost. Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Let’s collaborate to improve healthcare outcomes!

The recent development of the hugely successful Design and Innovation Centre at Static Systems head offices to now include a Concept Ward has given opportunity for client teams to innovate with manufacturers. The latest development has been backed by support, investment and the provision of equipment and technology from a number of leading industry suppliers.

The presentation will explain the vision for a facility that can be used industry wide to test and trial conceptual ideas and develop innovative solutions. It will cover some of the common themes and issues faced by clinicians and healthcare delivery teams and will go on to explain the benefit of collaborative working amongst equipment suppliers and specialists to address these issues. It will develop the objective of encouraging clinical teams, design groups, constructors and other interested parties to engage to enable the ongoing provision and delivery of world-class buildings and facilities and help improve healthcare outcomes for all.

 Wireless emergency lighting and reporting for healthcare applications

Manual testing of emergency luminaires can be a long and arduous process. Performing this process manually requires somebody to be present to ensure that the luminaire stays lit for the duration of the tests, a time consuming and costly process, especially on large sites.

Thorlux SmartScan is an innovative system which addresses all the issues that arise in providing an efficient, legislation-compliant emergency installation.
